a spin. Located in Burlington, Colorado (almost to Kansas) It was originally at Elitch Gardens Amusement Park in Denver from 1905 to 1927.

Rotary and the Colorado River

Dave Stewart, a member of the Downtown club, will present a video that was made as part of a District Grant to inform Rotarians about the Colorado River and how we can potentially make a difference in the conversation about conflict and using the 4 Way Test.  The video engages water experts throughout the Colorado River basin and will potentially be shown to the 3,000 + clubs in the basin.  The intent is to encourage Rotarians, which are community leaders, to help with the conversation about the River.

Training NASA Astronauts: From Orbits to Exploration

Dottie Metcalf-Lindenberger is a graduate of Fort Collins High School. Her talk will cover the early NASA training (Mercury, Gemini, Apollo) programs. She will also talk about Shuttle and ISS training, where she has first hand knowledge and will look at exploration training (return to Moon and onto Mars) and the significance of Earth analogs.
