About Platte River Power Authority

Since 1973, Platte River has safely provided its owner communities with reliable, financially sustainable and environmentally responsible power. As we mark 50 years of service, Platte River continues to innovate for a noncarbon energy future – a goal mutually held by Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland. During his talk, Eddie Gutiérrez will provide a brief history of Platte River, its current status and future actions.
