Remember that we have NO MEETING this week. Instead, we're gathering for social time at Olive Garden at noon Tuesday. It's a pay-your-own-way event. This would be a great time to invite a friend or colleague to meet our members in a more relaxed environment. Join us! Doors open at noon sharp.
The Mental Health First Aid training is this Monday at 5:30. There's no charge, but this can help us save lives in our own families and community.
Our big Astronaut Luncheon event to benefit STEM is going to be the most impactful that we've had for many years. We're close to 150 attendees, including 32 students that we're scholarshipping in. Thank you to all who are stepping up to help! Anything extra will be distributed to worthy STEM causes through the Downtown Club's STEM Grants program.
Thank you all who are supporting the District's Crutches4Africa effort! Please bring your assistive items to one of our upcoming meetings and give to Wynn or Deems. If you are interested to contribute a Silent Auction item to the Conference which will also benefit Crutches4Africa, check out this story and connect with Randy Looper.
The Estes Park Duck Race team is loaning us their ducks for our first Duck Race in September! But the agreement is that we need to supply ten volunteers for THEIR event on Saturday May 4th. It'll be a day of great fun, but we'll also see first hand how they run such a fabulous event. If you're available on that day to volunteer, please contact Wynn now.
