I want to enthusiastically encourage all of you to attend....not only for the great information and people....but because OUR CLUB is responsible for putting on next year's conference. Next Tuesday's speaker: Sami Zepponi - Research and history of the Amache National Historic Site
Sami Zepponi, (a master's student in anthropology at the University of Denver) will talk about the history of the Amache WWII incarceration site in Southern Colorado and the ongoing archaeological research at the site.
Really only have one timely announcement from Dave Haas regarding the Peach Festival:
"I am in ‘sound the alarm’ mode for getting volunteers ready to serve alcohol at Peach Festival 2025. My concern is that not all know to register with FCPD for Safe Serve, then classes get full, and we cannot get them certified. Class is the cheapest I have seen, only $10, no test, just fill out a worksheet with everyone in the class at the end. Below is the link to sign up, please forward to your club and tell them to plan ahead as these classes do fill up."
You are all invited to participate in our Fort Collins & Foothills Rotary Book Club. Next meeting is April 17, 11:30-1:00, at Hunan Chinese Restaurant.
