Our club meeting on Tuesday, April 1st will be at Timberline Church (this is not an April Fools joke). I will be in CA for a week in Palm Desert and my mother-in-law's Celebration of Life, so Deems will be leading the meeting. For newer members who have not been to one of our Timberline meetings, you park and enter on the east side of the building and go to the 2nd floor.
Tuesday's program: Mary Vivo - Director of Philanthropy at the Fort Collins Rescue Mission
Mary and a co-worker will talk about homelessness in Fort Collins and how the new building being built in north Fort Collins is primed to address long-standing needs in our community and benefit those experiencing homelessness and businesses and neighbors alike.
Applications are now open for both RYLA & Young RYLA (see below). If you know someone going into 7th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades, please encourage them to apply.
Remember to register for the District Conference (June 12-14). The costs go up on April 1st. The link is below.
Also, please register with FCPD for Safe Serve, for the Peach Festival 2025. Class is only $10. Below is the link to sign up:
If you have questions regarding the Win Schendel Impact Fund, please reach out to Brian Winegar.
I am sad to announce that Sean Shelley has resigned from Rotary or as he said, "It is time for me to join the Alumni Group. I will continue to support RI & Foothills. I look forward to supporting Pickleball, Duck Race and Polio Plus. Fort Collins is lucky to have a strong Rotary group for all we do in the community." Sean will be missed and was a leader and member of our club for over 42 years. Thank you Sean for all you have contributed!
Birthdays: None this week
Rotary Anniversaries: None this week
Thank you for everything you do to "Improve Lives".
In Gratitude,
Wynn
