I hope you all had a great Happy Memorial Day Weekend! June is always one of my favorite months of the year...perhaps because it is my birthday month, but most certainly because it is the start of summer. I love all the outdoor music (i.e. CSU Lagoon Concert Series), bike rides, brewery patios and BBQs with friends.
On Tuesday we are back at the Marriott
We have a special and unique opportunity for our June 10th Off-site. We will be meeting at Platte River Power Authority Rawhide Energy Station. They will be providing a presentation and tour. For security reasons, we must provide them a list of attendees (limited to 30 people), so registration is required. We only have 10 spots left!
If you have never been to near Rawhide before, it is impressive. I have been riding my bike by Rawhide for years. Please plan to arrive between 11:00-11:10. We will have lunch, a presentation by PRPA and a tour. We will be done by 1:00. It is a good 30-35 min drive from the Marriott, so plan accordingly.
Address is 2700 E. CR82 (Buckeye Road), Wellington, CO. Google map link:
To be held at the Fossil Lake Ranch Clubhouse - 6022 Brookwater Lane
There is no charge, but it helps to know how many are attending for ordering food & drink. Spouses/significant others (not both) are invited. We currently have over 50 people registered!
Remember to register for the District Conference(June 12-14). The link is below.
If you want to serve alcohol, check IDs etc. for the Peach Festival, please sign up for Safe Serve, a Fort Collins Police Department run class. Only $10, takes two hours and no test.
Here is the link for FCPD Safe Serve! Pass along that the course is taught at the Mason Street FCPD location.
Applications for the 2025 RYLA, YRYLA and RYLA+ camps are now open! Contact Brian Winegar if you have a student currently in 7th (Young RYLA) or 10th/11th/12th grade (RYLA) to recommend.
