Next Tuesday, we will be back at the Marriott. Our program will be Lindy Clausen: The International Quilt Museum! We will be abbreviating the first part of the meeting to give them a bit longer time for their presentation. If you plan on bringing a guest, please let me know as soon as possible so I can notify the Marriott.
Lindy Clausen, Education Coordinator, will take on a virtual tour of the International Quilt Museum. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, on the University of Nebraska campus, the International Quilt Museum is home to the largest publicly held collection of quilts in the world. From quilts made around the year 1600 to present day quilts, prepare to be surprised as you learn about our fantastic museum and ever-changing exhibits.
The Rotary GolfTour will be starting next month on Friday May 2nd. If interested in playing, please contact Artie Bavoso at 970-217-9969 or art@thirdsectorenterprises.com. More details to follow.
If anyone is interested in joining our Rotary Book Club (I have been a member for almost 20 years), the information is below. Our next meeting is this coming Thursday. Reach out to me if you have questions.
Applications are now open for both RYLA & Young RYLA (see below). If you know someone going into 7th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades, please encourage them to apply.

By far the cheapest and easiest way to be able to serve alcohol, check IDs etc. for the Peach Festival is Safe Serve, a Fort Collins Police Department run class. Only $10, takes two hours and no test. BUT the classes fill up quickly and there are only four more classes available before the Peach Festival! The available classes are May 8th, May 20th, June 19th and July 17th. Please share the link below to your members! I want to avoid just a few having to work a long day! There are other classes like TIPS, they are $35 and require a pass/fail test.
Here is the link for FCPD Safe Serve! Pass along that the course is taught at the Mason Street FCPD location.
Applications for the 2025 RYLA, YRYLA and RYLA+ camps are now open! Contact Brian Winegar if you have a student currently in 7th (Young RYLA) or 10th/11th/12th grade (RYLA) to recommend.
Here's where you sign up for the Submarine Crew event on May 13! Members MUST sign up so we know how many lunches to order, and you can also make an additional donation to support bringing in Interact and Rotaract students. Club members use discount code FHMEMBER to get in free.
You are all invited to participate in our Fort Collins & Foothills Rotary Book Club. Next meeting is April 17, 11:30-1:00, at Hunan Chinese Restaurant.
