Building Resilience from the Inside Out: How We Build Mental and Physical Fitness One Rep at a Time
In this presentation, Taylor will share how FYR Mindset Reps is addressing two critical populations in our community—teens and first responders—through a unique approach that combines mental health, physical fitness, and real-world life skills.
She will talk about the increasing mental health challenges facing today’s youth and the cumulative stress first responders carry from the job, and why traditional approaches alone are often not enough to create lasting change. She will explain how Mindset programs integrate mindset training, movement, and community to help individuals build resilience, confidence, and the ability to navigate stress in a healthy way.
Taylor will explain the impact they are seeing locally, how they are expanding access to underserved youth, and how programs like SHIFT provide first responders with structure, accountability, and practical tools to actually implement change in their lives.
