Documenting the Air War in Southeast Asia -- 1970-1971

In his 30-minute presentation, Dr. Pete Seel will show examples of his photo portfolio from 18-months serving as an Air Force combat photographer in 1970-71. As a member of the Combat Documentation (ComDoc) unit of the 600^th Photo Squadron based in Saigon, he traveled throughout Southeast Asia photographing all aspects of U.S. Air Force operations in the air and on the ground. He will present a selected sample of photos taken during his tour of duty there and discuss the documentation mission of his unit.
