Hazel Dell Mushrooms was started by Jim Hammond in 1980 in the Watsonville, CA area. He moved his family and the operation to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1995 where Hazel Dell became the premier grower of exotic mushrooms on the front range. The farm is currently family owned and operated by Jared Scherger and Lucinda Womack. We have continued to grow the farm and are proud purveyors of the best gourmet organic mushrooms around.
