Apologies for not being able to get the bulletin out earlier this week. The Quad Club picnic was so much fun and I'm so proud of the role our club takes in putting this event together. Thanks Celeste, Lisa and Gayle for taking the lead from our club on putting this together and thanks Carl for the tech help. Saira did a great job filling in to make the presentation for Rams Against Hunger. Looking forward to seeing how much money we raised!
This week's presentation is for the birds, literally. Kyle Horton will be on Zoom to discuss birds and airspaces across North America. One of the things I love about our Rotary meetings is we are always learning something new and this is a topic I know nothing about. Thanks JD for all you do to ensure we have a wide variety of presentations.
Next week Jennifer Gimbel will be speaking to us about the Colorado River and the issues that exist with a limited water supply. This is very timely with the winter we have had. We will not have a meeting on the 17th due to Spring Break. However, Lisa and Kathe will be attending PETS that weekend in Loveland. For those who don't know, PETS is the training for those entering the Presidency. I know they both will have a great time and come back with lots of great ideas!
On the 24th we will have another Student of the Month presentation. This month it will be Kinard Middle School. Thanks Allison for all of your hard work putting together these presentations.
Thanks to everyone who has registered for our presentation at City Hall. If you haven't registered here is the link : Meet with the City Manager! | Rotary Club of Fort Collins (Foothills)Thanks for registering so we make sure that we have enough lunches for everyone.
Please don't forget about RYLA registration. The link is here to forward to anyone who may be interested. www.RockyMountainryla.org .
