This sure is a busy month! We had a wonderful social day this last Tuesday, and I'm really looking forward to our visit to SummitStone Health's new Longview Acute Care facility on October 31st. I'm so glad to see the momentum building around supporting mental health in Rotary!

This coming Tuesday, Deems will be leading a "table talk" discussion about how we can create a better membership experience. Bring your ideas!

Remember that our Pickleball Classic is next Saturday! We still need players and an enthusiastic audience. All skill levels are welcome, which is why I just signed up this week. It's been decades since I touched a ping pong paddle or tennis racket, and have never even seen a pickleball match in person. Come and laugh at me!

I just found out that the Breakfast Rotary Club has created a large fund from their Field Of Honor they do on Memorial Day, and is looking to give away grants to any organizations which benefit veterans. If you know of local organizations which might benefit, have them apply via the Community Service Grant Request Form at www.fcbreakfastrotary.org.
