Hello Foothills Rotarians,

Happy Monday!   What a great event the Pickleball Tournament was on Saturday!   It was great to have the event in Fort Collins this year. The Picklr's new facility there is amazing!   I want to thank everyone who was involved in the committee and sponsored the event.  There is no doubt that this takes a lot of time and effort to put on and behalf of everyone in our club, thanks for making this an amazing event that supports an amazing cause!

Tomorrow we have our offsite at the Ranch.  We will have lunch ahead of time at the Boot where there will be a burger bar.  The club is covering the cost of lunch.   I have a link to register for lunch and the event here.  Special Offsite Meeting (Boot Grill, The Ranch) | Rotary Club of Fort Collins (Foothills)   You can also email me if you plan to attend in case that's easier.   The event will start at 11 but feel free to come a little later if that works better for you.  The plan will be to head over at 12;15 to the McKee Building for our presentation at The Ranch.  Our speaker, Portia Cook will begin her presentation at 12:30.

Sunday will be our annual Purple Pins for Polio event at Chippers Lane.  There are still opportunities to sponsor or play this year.  Thanks, Ruth, for coordinating this for our club!

Next Tuesday we will be back at the Marriott.  Our speaker will be Stacy Lischka of Poudre Valley Community Farms.  They are an organization that works with local farmers and ensures that land is available in Larimer County for farming.  I have met Stacy a couple of times and I think you will enjoy her presentation.

Hope to see many of you tomorrow!
