I hope everyone's weekend was good! Lot's of great playoff football last weekend and next weekend should be even better!     It was great to see everyone last Monday after the long holiday break.   We are entering an exciting and busy time of the year as Rotarians.   It's hard to believe but Pickleball will be next Saturday January 24th.  If you want to play, please let me or the Pickleball committee know, and we can get you on a team!  February 1st will be Purple Pins for Polio.   Lane sponsorships are still available.  

Our presentation this week will be from Chris Garcia of Give Next.   It's been several years since we have heard from Give Next.  It will be great to hear how they have grown in that time.  For those who aren't familiar, Give Next is a school-based youth grantmaking program for Middle and High School Students.   

Next week Bill Emslie will be back joining us to discuss nuclear power.  More specifically a power plant that is being built in Wyoming.  It will be great to have Bill join our club again.  His presentation last week was very informative.  It seems that whenever water is the subject of our presentation, it really peaks everyone's interest.  There is no doubt that it's one of the most important issues living in Colorado.  

On the 27th we are scheduled to have an offsite at The Ranch at the Larimer County Fairgrounds.   We are planning on having box lunches so if you can register or let me know if you plan to attend, I would appreciate that so we have lunches.
