Happy Valentine's Day! I am off the hook (a bit) as Karen is in CA taking care of her mom.
There is No Meeting next week. Our next meeting is Feb 25th at the Marriott.
Rotary Book Club is meeting next Thursday the 20th at Hunan's (next to Red Robin near Sam's Club) from 11:30-1:00 in the back room. The book we will be discussing is: The Taking of K-129: How the CIA Used Howard Hughes to Steal a Russian Sub in the Most Daring Covert Operation in History. No sign up, just come join us.
You should have seen my email yesterday asking for sign-ups for our Quad-Club Social. This is a great opportunity to show the power of Rotary in addition to having some fun. I would love for our club to have an amazing presence on March 2nd. If you have not already registered, here is the link:

A few other reminders:
1) There if no Guest Fee for potential members for their first two meetings. Just check the box on the sign-up sheet that they are a potential member and you will not be charged.
2) Newer members are encouraged to attend one of our monthly board meetings. They are a great way to learn more about our club and our operations. You can attend in person or via Zoom. Our next Board Meeting is February 25th from 1:15-3:00.
3) A club member has challenged our club to raise $2,500 for Respite Care that he would match it with another $2,500. Respite Care qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Credit....so if you want to take advantage click here and just write in the note section, "Foothills Rotary match".

We will be resorting, packing, and distributing food. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a coat - some volunteers may be working in the cooler or freezer. Volunteers must be 10 years or older.
