Happy MLK Day! To start off with I wanted to share some exciting news about Louise, she finally has attained her student visa! The visa is good until 2028 so she should be able to continue her studies in the United States uninterrupted for quite a while. Feel free to reach out to Lousie and congratulate her on this accomplishment. Her phone number is 970-566-6954 and email is comfortsempala@gmail.com.
Last week's presentation from Give Next was absolutely amazing. Thanks Denise for your involvement in this amazing organization. I think it would be great if we could form some type of cooperation with this group of amazing kids with our grant making.
I'm really excited about next week as we will have our first Student of the Month presentation. Our first set of recipients will be from Lesher Middle School. These speeches from the awards recipients are always so amazing. Thanks Allison for heading up this effort!
Bill Emslie will be back joining us to discuss nuclear power. More specifically a power plant that is being built in Wyoming. It will be great to have Bill join our club again.
On the 27th we are scheduled to have an offsite at The Ranch at the Larimer County Fairgrounds to learn the latest updates of what is going on there. I have plans for lunch at The Boot prior. You can get there as early as 11. We will have a catered burger bar and most likely other goodies for everyone. Please register so we have an accurate headcount for lunch.
As I'm sure you are well aware we have Pickleball coming up next Saturday. I know that the committee is in need of scorekeepers. Please let Artie know if you can help with this!
